On February 5, 1913 Ida Braiman, a young Ukrainian immigrant working in Rochester's garment industry was killed by a local tailor shop owner. She was participating with thousands of others in a strike in the Rochester garment industry.

Rochester Next Up will host a remembrance on the 107th anniversary of her death. We will visit her grave site (weather permitting) and then move into the Charlotte Branch Library for a local labor history presentation by Linda Donahue from Cornell ILR.
