Federal and State Office Endorsement Page

If you are running for Federal or State office, the Rochester &  Genesee Valley Area Labor Federation and its member Labor Councils all recommend endorsements, but are not the final endorsement body. The New York State AFL-CIO is the final endorsement body. You will need to work with your Local Central Labor Council in addition to the New York State AFL-CIO.

In most cases the Local Central Labor Councils will hold interviews in addition to the process for the New York State AFL-CIO. Find the New York State AFL-CIO application process here.

Our next timeline will be available in early 2024.
