Rally and Picket in Solidarity with Amazon Strike!

Amazon, the most profitable company in the world, is doing everything in its power to crush working people and their right to organize for better pay and work conditions. 

It has been nearly 3 years since the Amazon warehouse workers in Staten Island voted in favor of unionization. In recent months, majorities at multiple facilities across the country have demanded recognition of their union with the Teamsters. 

What has Amazon's response been? They have refused completely to bargain at all, let alone in good faith. Even worse, Amazon is party to a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the National Labor Relations Act! They are effectively trying to destroy the legal status of unions in the United States. 

They have made clear that they are anti-worker through incredibly high injury rates, low pay, churn and burn style employment and refusing to bargain. But, they have declared war on all of Labor by challenging the NLRA. 

This holiday season, Amazon workers in multiple major facilities have voted in support of strikes to force Amazon to the table. Teamsters across the country will be putting up picket lines at Amazon facilities, encouraging union delivery people to refuse their business.

WHERE: ROC 1 Amazon Facility, 2600 Manitou Road.
WHEN: Pickets up from 9am-5pm Dec 19th and 20th. Rally at 9:30a on Thursday Dec 19th!
